seasonal inventory

We grow several crops that become available at different times throughout the growing season:

SPRING -- starting in May, we offer overwintered, second-year perennial forb, grass, shrub, and tree stock. Some larger, more mature tree and shrub stock are also available as bare root or container at that time. 

SUMMER -- by mid June, we begin adding first year perennials and warm season grasses in DP72 & DP50 trays to our inventory. Second-year perennial inventory in DP50, P18, and Qt sizes available as inventory allows.

FALL -- our 'Fall Order Form' is released in early August. Fall pick-ups begin in late August/early September. This is both an excellent time to browse our full inventory and to establish perennial material for the following Spring.

We do not use supplemental heat or grow in a greenhouse, which allows for plant emergence to occur on a natural time-scale and results in hardy first-year stock for reliable late Summer & Fall planting. 

PICKUPS are by appointment only from mid May through late October, during the following hours:

     Mon, Tues, Wed -- 11a to 2p

     Thrs & Fri -- 8a to 4p

     Sat & Sun -- by request

We will gladly help load plants. Please bring appropriate materials to cover / secure / protect plants (i.e. breathable tarp/mesh, cords/rope). 

DELIVERIES are dependent on staff availability and are subject to additional charge based on round trip travel distance plus size of order. Please email us to discuss options.
